To help American Express celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Small Business Saturday, we created the Main Street of the next decade in ‘The Big Future of Shopping Small.’ This concept hones in on the future of retail shopping experiences, noting the evolution small businesses will embark on to keep up in our rapidly evolving world.
DESIGN
With a two-weekend interactive experience pop-up Soho, one of New York City’s most popular neighborhoods, we showcased the future of retail through augmented reality and artificial intelligence. The experience featured QR codes for all independent retailers in the event, and examples of interactivity included doughnut retailer Glazed and Confused using AI biometrics to match consumers with the right product, and AR wine labels that featured brand storytelling
